To use the Windows 10 or iOS apps, you must sign in with a Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail, Live, Xbox, etc.) or an Office 365 account (personal, work, or school). To use the web app (preview), you must sign in with a work or school Office 365 account (after your administrator has enabled the service).
The Microsoft Whiteboard cloud service is automatically enabled for your organization. Your users will be able to sign in using the Microsoft Whiteboard apps for Windows 10 and iOS, which are enabled by default.
The Microsoft Whiteboard web client is not enabled by default. To enable the web client for your users, go to the Office 365 admin portal. Please see this support article for more details.
Microsoft Whiteboard for Windows 10 is available in all Windows regions in English only. It will roll out to other languages over the next few months.

The Windows 10 and iOS apps provide comparable levels of functionality, with some small differences: in iOS, Bing image search is not available, and you cannot ink to invite participants (you must type people’s names). The web preview currently allows users to create and join boards, create and erase ink, and view stacks, sticky notes and images that others have added. Over time, all the apps will have feature parity.
The preview app will be upgraded to the new general availability version.
Whiteboard App Win 10
The Whiteboard apps for Windows 10 and iOS are Tier C compliant, meaning that they conform to global standards including SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and EU Model Clauses. When the Whiteboard web app (currently in commercial preview) is made generally available, it will meet the same level of compliance standards.
